Allah created you all from a single soul, then from it, He made its mate.
~ Quran [39:6]
We did not create the heavens and the earth and everything in between for sport.
~ Quran [21-16]
To Allah belongs the East and the West, wherever you turn there is the face of Allah. Surely Allah is All-Encompassing, All-Knowing.
~ Quran [2-115]
Poverty is one of the most difficult trials and calamities, but still more severe than poverty is the bodily sickness, and harsher than the bodily sickness is the sickness of the soul. Plenty of wealth is one of God's blessings, but sound health is better than that, and piety of the heart is the most supreme form of wealth.
~ Imam Ali Ibn Abi Talib
Who provides for you from the sky and the earth? Who is it that has power over all hearing and sight? Who brings forth the living from the dead and the dead from the living? And who rules and regulates all affairs? They will say, Allah. Then say, Will you not then be mindful of Him?
~ Quran [10-31]
A man possesses four eyes, with two apparent eyes he sees the affairs relevant to his world, and with two esoteric eyes sees the affairs related to the Spiritual-Celestial World. Therefore, whenever Allah the Almighty desires good for a believer, he opens his heart's eyes to enable him to witness the hidden world and its mysteries. But when He does not desire his welfare, leaves the heart with his esoteric eyes closed.
~ Imam Jaffar Al Sadiq
